Description of Word and Spirit Reformed Ministries

Located in Brampton, Ontario, Word and Spirit Ministries is under the supervision of the Canadian Reformed Church of Brampton. It is a Christian institution that offers instruction and provides resources to promote biblical theology in line with the early church and the great reformation (often referred to as Reformed Theology); and exists to bring glory to God.

Mission Statement

The Word and Spirit Centre aims to communicate to the people of Brampton, Ontario and the world, the basis of Reformed theology; specifically redemption by grace through faith, in a practical and comprehensive way. Our task is to offer instruction to equip believers for their ministry in the world, in order to magnify His name.

It is our vision to bring people to Christ through a greater understanding of God’s Word. We understand that we as humans cannot achieve this on our own but it is only through the working of the Holy Spirit. In scripture we are often cautioned not to depend on our own power to accomplish things; it is only because God’s Spirit enables us that we can accomplish anything. “… This is the word of the LORD… ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.” (Zechariah 4:6)
